I'm gonna make my own out of pvc pipe and folded up aluminum gum wrappers for fins.

I took out my OEM one for the same reason. It was probably good for another few years, but for the price its just not worth it. I went with an OSC. So far, so good.

I remember when TYC tails were all the rage...and I hated them.

Mine's still hanging in, no cracks and the fins are decent but I'm going to switch it this summer anyway. Twenty years is twenty years.

I bought a Spectra radiator from Rock for the LX. It came packaged better than the Denso I bought last year that I still have in the box.

The unknown radiator in the Tacoma is still hanging in there. I keep a new Denso in the box waiting for the day when it fails.

Well I figured that was important with the 5vz being dual prong electrode

But the 3rz uses a single prong electrode so you figure a prong is a prong, what gives

    Nope

I would have never guessed something soo detrimental to the engines performance would be sold advertised being for that engine

I've done a mod or two
Spark plugs are resistors so, wrong resistance, bad spark, incomplete or late burn... Put in what the engine builder recommends

I'm guessing the ching Chong coils arnt doing it any favors either

Po sold it to me running on 3 cylinders parts cannoned the plugs wires and coils... Obviously the cheapest they could find

Soo far I've replaced the plugs with densos and wires with ngks

    Needed an injector

Not likely, coils, plugs, injectors, MAFs, and O2 sensors... Not great places to cheap out even if you are a habitual cheapass it'll just come back to bite you as poor fuel mileage and performance or by breaking again

I've realized this, only denso for plugs and o2 sensors, ngk for wires on everything since my tacoma
