This most recent find is one I’d just throw a frame under and keep stock (well aside from the TRD catalog I’d throw at it) it’s low mileage and pre 01 which is rare out here now. Truck probably would fetch north of 17k without the frame issue.

I really need people to stop getting ahold of me when rusty trucks pop up. But if this deal goes through, that’s it. No more. I’m done. I can’t have all these things and give them the attention I need. Past this it would be flipping for them.

 

In all seriousness any spindles you get (prerunner OR 4x4) I will buy for Miguel to put on the frame so it rolls. Makes life WAY easier finding a shipper

if they’re 4x4 I need axles too so they can roll without filling apart

 

Meanwhile, it's a 30-minute drive from me but I have nowhere to put it :-(

 

That 2 truck deal I was working on I got beat by an hour on. I am working on this one now. But he wants way to much.

No driveway. I'm one of those city-dwellers. I've got a 1-car garage but it's a tight turn and a steep ramp off an alley. It's a chore getting my standard cab in there under its own power. Extended cab with no power? Maybe if 7-8 of y'all want to come push...

(and then my truck would have to live on the street, and that would make me sad)

 

5th gens are so nice to drive and have a lot of room.

They don't fall apart that easily, had a guy drive up in a highlander to the shop with a loose cv nut, the wheel bearing was fucked but it was together and driving fine

I rolled my Camry around without a transmission (cvs) no adverse affect
