Lil brother fell asleep at the wheel of the milf van and totaled it. Glad he's okay, but now trying to help him find a shit box is insane in this market.

Been digging for an old 5 lug or Nissan hardbody to make it easy for him haha

I'm so sorry to hear that! In 2007 I fell asleep behind the wheel of my grandads brand new Chevy Malibu and totalled it.. it's a scary experience

Best of luck finding a new shit box! Nissan hardbody would be a perfect truck for him

It's funny because I remember people complained about lead times on this site just about as much before 2020 as they do now.

Covid made the 'I want it now' mentality way worse for a lot of people. I don't know how anyone survives in a customer service industry right now without going postal

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I made it to Aztec NM last night. Road construction on I40 -- long delays.

I took at detour on NM highway 3 through a little town named Villanueva to I25 into Santa Fe.
Very interesting the tightly wound roads to get to it.

Met some cool Toyota owners from AZ this morning loading up their 4Runners and Tacomas to strike out on a fishing trip. They were all over the tricked out LX.

I drove fast as hell on 550 last night and through a lot of NM. Loving the 100 more every day.

That winddown period is no joke sometimes. May as well have chugged a pot of coffee  How'd the race go?

A big thing with the ammo shortage is/was that they couldnt get the special packaging materials for the combustible raw materials. Its not always about the product itself.

It's been a real shit show at my work; haven't even posted about it because it angers me just thinking about it.

    Anyway, today's my Monday.

Fuck, remember Federal not producing their gold medal match primers some 2-3 years before COVID?

That was a shit show for reloaders.

I won but there aren't many young guys entering races in my area. I even shotgunned a beer at the turn around point because I knocked it off a table and felt obligated.

I work for a mid level manufacturer. Nothing we sell goes straight to the consumer. If our supplier is backordered then were backordered. Granted we make the stuff you throw out when you open a box, but packing materials are an extremely important part of the supply chain. And something as simple as that could hold up that assholes parts he ordered.

When I was 19 working at the butcher shop/deli, the owner always had a case of Coors in the walk in fridge and once in awhile after a shift he'd let us have a few. My friend would shotgun those in one gulp, like he wasn't human...he was some kind of alien vacuum device instead. It was actually kind of terrifying to watch.

Thinking back, the owner also paid us under the table in cash the 4 years I worked there lol.
