14 isn't bad considering a lot of Taco owners here are at that same mpg.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised to see my mpg jump up to 19 from 18.5 so far.

that’s race trucking up the mountain and bouncing down two tracks too. Highway should be cool

It's less Tacoma and more mod
My tacomas have always pleased me MPG wise. The LC is consistent at least 13-14 if you're not driving like a total asshole. But the taco has a wider range and rewards you for being soft on the pedal and for having a manual haha. This one was pretty regular for highway at 21mpg

It’s been stuck at 18.5 since I got the UG.

funny how running a set of health valves and plugs changes things.

Just in time for 33’s to ruin it

The flatbed was messed up bad by that Firestone. Power steering reservoir is empty, wheel and suspension has ATF spray everywhere, rack boot is ripped. Reservoir was full Sunday night when I filled the truck up. I had them redo the alignment Tuesday.

Why Firestone after my previous bad experiences at another location? It’s 1 mile from my house and easy to drop a truck off at on foot.

At that rate you may as well just knock it out with a tape measure. What a pain.

I’m done. That’s like 2/20 for good alignments in this town and 50% of the time they break or damage something. Don’t even get me started about off center steering wheels.

I have a flat driveway so I can try the black magic driveway alignment myself next. If I can’t figure that out I’ll just need to get my alignments done out of town.

Yeah my issue is I don’t know where to go for an alignment once the string method is done. I’ve never tried the dealer. Or at least not recently.

He's the type of salesman that, overthinks and assumes an objection that hasn't even been shared, all based on any previous conversation done before bringing out the "numbers"

Depending on the salesman, when I close a deal, I tell them "watch me and shut up, don't say anything" or "stay here I'm going to shut it down" or "stay here going to close your deal"

Aside from one maybe a month ago, I've closed every deal I've touched in all these months.

Sure, you can blame the fact that I'm a manager, but I've proven that to be irrelevant as I've introduced myself as a salesman (to prove a point).

I've also closed deals, one recently, where I didn't share that I was former MIL/LEO even though the husband was a veteran, and current law encorcement. That's when I remember telling Omar that saying about 2 ears 1 mouth.

I have to remind them often, and also that, when you give them the figures...first one to talk loses.

I guess that's a good benefit of equipment sales, manufacturer sets the MSRP and the advertise a "sale" price and people don't argue lol. No figures needed to be discussed when there's a tag hanging on the saw that says what it gets sold at
