yep, that’s why I don’t work for one anymore. There are good jobs to be had there, and the retirement plans are amazing, but they grind people hard. Some of the trades are worse than others though.

Standard aftermarket speakers should fit the bracket, don’t remember what size though. My tundra has the cheap hertz speakers and they’re fantastic for the $99 they were. Newer Toyota’s use a custom Bracket that only fits newer Toyota’s (05 up mostly)

 

Its come in handy when ive had to pump up a basketball ball or 2.

What would you do? - 342K mile '96 Tacoma 2WD daily driver, W59 transmission is getting jinky, hard to shift into 5th, especially in cold weather. Would you: A) New (rebuilt) Marlin Crawler W59, B) Find a guy to rebuild the existing transmission, C) Something else more better than A or B. Parameters - I'm not at a skill level and tool level to rebuilt it myself, budget $2k ish is ok as a maximum, I want to love this truck longtime, I am the original owner, 100K more miles and I'll be too old to drive, I live east of the Mississippi. Thanks in advance.

 

I might just search for a used 2WD W59, it's a common transmission and the 2WD version is never very expensive because it's less desirable
