    Is it a moral dilemma?

does it fall into "fuck you pay me" to want the most possible?

I was actually outbid on this home but I wrote a letter to the seller explaining that I worked nearby, the yard and nearby park were great for my dog, and that the garage was a great place to work on my truck.

She chose my offer over a higher one (I think it was 10-12k ish) because of the letter.

I'm probably cynical (that's a lie, I am cynical), I would just imagine that most people esp right now would take that money and run over offering the home to someone who put in a lesser offer but had a family that really needed it.

It is cool to hear about though, gives me a little boost of faith in humanity

I am proud to say that all of those things rang true and this has been a great place for me. Between career and personal growth it just isn't a great fit anymore.

The reverse incentive program to get people to buy EVs has gotten really intense out there. Too bad the trade-off is blackouts

I've wondered about that...if everyone buys EVs how are they going to charge them when we're being told not to even run our ACs before 9pm on super hot days because energy levels are so low, lol. Won't the energy situation become even more dire then

They’re both tenured software engineers at some big tech company, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re making $200k each a year.

at big tech? that's low tbh. Last I heard from acquaintances facebook/google devs were starting at 150-180k out of college. with 5+ years they should be in the 250-280 range LOL
