Otherwise, you'd hit it right on the head with 'losing money' had I spent more money on the 4R than I actually did.

I scored a hell of a deal on it.

I'm only partially concerned with several parts you listed that are discontinued (I remember that list in the forum you linked); I guess it's just servicing that front end if I had to.

It'll all be new to me.

I can imagine they have get-togethers drinking Coors, smashing cans on their heads, burning rubber everywhere and picking up lot lizards that hang out at the local truck stops

I've done a mod or two
The axle service is totally procedural, nothing special required, just parts and following the instructions. 91-94 get new birfield outers and drive flanges if you wanna be extra but if yours feel good then knock off a bunch of cash.

Not a fan of the look or price but it's a perfect track car.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I changed out the failing alternator on the 04 Civic this afternoon. It wasn't too bad of a job.

The dealer wanted $900 for the job. We picked up a Denso rebuilt at NAPA for $210.

I need to unbolt the back of the Tacoma body and jack it up to reach a weld spot and I'm over it right now.
