It could be a good way to make a little side money and get some puppy love.

That's why this family does it. They have plenty of experience with dogs but after the last one passed they didn't want to get another so soon. they have kids in sports and have to travel which makes getting a dog more complicated. Dogsitting gives them flexibility and they still get to have the experience and the young young gets get a lot of exposure to dogs. Between the couple and their 4 kids the dogs were loved on plenty and they were very excited to have them come back today.

I can tell the dogs got cared for quite well as soon as I picked them up. I've left my dogs with people that just leave them in the yard and don't give them any attention and I can tell because the dogs are super anxious and clingy when I pick them up. When I dropped them off this morning they were excited when we pulled up to the house.

Fuck that thing looks like a brown recluse, though it says they are rare in CO

    Still though, looks awfully similar

We got lots of those here, they're pretty docile though

I enjoy it, probably why it’s taking so long. Lighter class loads, more time to do what I want.

I accept that most spiders are pretty docile, even the naughtiest ones. Much like snakes they aren't gonna threaten you if you don't threaten them first or stick your hand right where they are.

they still gotta die though if they're in the house

I leave most spiders alone in the house unless they're huge or something, they help control the fly populations

it might be, the abdomen had a little bit of distinct violin pattern which makes it seem less likely to be a brown recluse. That said my friends and I haven't found a better match for it either...

Even worse are the fucking mosquitoes, they are so bad this year in our area. Gotta douse myself in spray just to go in the backyard for a few minutes and still have bites all over my ankles/legs every day.

It pained me just to look up images of a brown recluse to post, so I'm afraid I won't be of much more help in identifying this one lol
