No buzzing but more so the actuator just goes back and forth all the time without any input. So you’ll be driving all the way on cold and you can hear it wigging out.

man that is getting close. Wife's family is to the west of there at the bottom of the mountains (just off the map a ways), doesn't look like it's active in that direction anymore though.

The car business is very cut throat, whether in sales or service.

Not to mention like you said, the hours.

Those hours are nothing as I got used to it for many years. The issue though has been finding those with the work ethic we have, where we were ok busting our ass off for hours on end to be the bread winner. We were raised to think it was the norm to work ungodly hours, because that's what we did to support our families.

I'm not saying it's right either, to implement those hours as it's taxing on anyone, whether you have a family or not.

This younger generation (the majority) wouldn't last with what would be asked of them. Hell, I hear constant complaints about an 8 hour shift being too long. Not to mention, the expectation of starting with a higher pay right off the bat with no experience.

Unfortunately, if businesses don't change to cater to this younger crowd, they're going to find out real quick the hard way once us guys leave the car business like I did.

My 4 day, 4hr shifts will be fun AF.

I think the fact that he has to deal with BMW owners all day doesn't help. He told me one guy got pissed because his brake pads were low and started squealing

"I paid $XXXXXX for this car, it shouldn't sound like a cheap piece of shit!!"

Yeah it’s scary how fast these things can move if they get a good wind.

That is one thing that all advisors deal with in every brand, especially on new cars.
