I think its still illegal to pump your own gas in New Jersey. Must be a license requirement.

To think of the days when you could get your tires checked/inflated, windows wiped, headlights wiped, ash trays cleaned out, battery checked, power steering and brake fluids topped off, and oil added if you needed to buy a quart all for $0.29 cents per gallon.

Oh, and if you filled up you could get an Esso tiger tail strapped around your gas cap so everybody would know you have a tiger in your tank.

I just filled up for $75 :homer:

If I had filled up by my buddy's house in the country I would have saved 41 cents per gallon but I was in a hurry to pick up the dogs. I saw diesel for 318 and thought surely it would not be much more in the hood :homer:

Yeah too bad inchworm is dead. There was some appeal to using stock drive lines and shifter location.

Here is a thread on why gear driven lefty transfer cases went away.

It does work like that. That thing that was posted with the 4.7:1 transfer case for 2500 is a direct bolt on for our trucks by replaying the stock transfer case (which, if I remember correctly, is 2.57:1) I don't know what the qeak point in the t-case is cause I've never broken one, but I rebuilt one that had 220k on it and it looked new on the inside.. even reused the stock chain cause it looked in better condition than the aftermarket new one I bought.

If I had 2500 that wasn't saved for more important things, I'd buy it 6 hours ago when I saw the post originally lol

A few years ago more rural areas of OR got rid of the requirement so there's a good chance if you were in a big city they didn't push the subject because they don't "have" to really inforce it anymore

But lemme tell you, when they first changed it.. there was more than just this story I read that looked like this

no worries zane, I appreciate your insight. Speech to text is always doo doo as well for myself. Starting from where I got the truck to now I've become aware of its innate limits. I agree it's one of the most difficult start points for the tacos, and even toyota trucks at that, for going the 4x4/offroading direction. I mean shit, look at the work ive had to do just to make 30s fit stock. Same amount one would need to go 35s on a 6 lug, imo. Even going the LT route ive seen people advocate for the old 5 lug pickups vs the 1st gen 5 lugs; endorsing better steering setups, stronger frame, among others. That said, I'm not on here to fight and bash everyone in an attempt to tell others to thrash their own 5 lugs off-road. If i could do it again i would have done a 4x4 with the 2.7 and mt. (Love no timing belt) but given the cards i was dealt, and then throwing a new oem top end in it I'd say to keep building the slug, others with 5 lugs wanting the same as me probably would be better off selling and going 6 lug i definitely agree. Great dd's and a weekend warrior, but yeah haha. Lt with a rear locker would be fun as shit with the slug, and tbh im hoping i dont need 4wd, but with me and the gf going solo i feel the comfort to go 4wd if needed outweighs it. We'll see tho, why im looking to build the rear first, so i can go LT or SAS depending on how ot fairs years down the road. (Think the consensus on here is always build rear first but idk) For what it is, the lil things amazed me so far, just need ground clearance. T case and trans wise, i thought all of it bolts up fine, most peeps have been doing 2rz swaps on the old pickups iirc, no?

Should be good to go by the looks of the listing.
Now that the new Mini is coming, Apple will likely have some discounted and refurb Minis on their site if you want to wait. But that's a good price.

Yep.. We are right on the cusp of a new generation. I actually need to start using it next weekend. If the thing works and I can get it registered with AT&T it will be worth it. I usually like to lag behind the latest and greatest phone tech for a year. I think the eBay sellers are already starting to liquidate inventories. $250 is about my limit for a device that will only be used in the truck maybe 2x a month.

always amazes me how different parts of the country can be at one time. Just saw a guy the other day who left the ER from there being 60 other people in the waiting room before him. Hospitals are definitely benefiting the most throughout this timeframe, you are correct. Only time they suffer is if their general surgeries have to be post-poned
