The only reason I didn't was because it was $80+ for a set of lowers only, and $55 for uppers and lowers with ES. I have aftermarket UCAs for the Taco so I can use the uppers for the 4runner. It just seemed like a bad deal at the time.

I put Whitelines in the Taco, easy as pie.

Though I used Prothane Superlube or whatever it's called versus the stuff that came with it.

Just home from a day of off-roading. Lots of crazy fun in the afternoon and supported a good cause in the morning.

I received an old CD that I somehow lost years ago. I'm ready to listen to Diana Krall and have a drink.

Members of the Backcountry Hunters & Anglers along with members Little Rock Rigs & Coffee went on a cleanup campaign in the Ouachita National Forest.

We spent the morning picking up litter that people left on the trail, campsites, and garbage that was just dumped.

I have a gallon tub of grease for energy suspension poly bushings which looks similar to the prothane superlube. Hopefully it works fine with the whiteline bushings I ordered for my 99.

I just use white lithium grease. It works better than the stuff they include.

Still not done. Finally wedged the rings in with screwdrivers and pry bars. Took like an hour by itself.
Apparently I deformed the LBJ stem and can't thread the castle nut back on now, so time to order a new one... literally put 20 miles on this one.

On the plus side, lost 4 lbs today. Time to go gain it back

I know the lot of us are the same way, picking stuff up as we go but man, it's heart breaking seeing things get as bad as you posted.

That's awesome that you did this. The day after every holiday we do the same in Tahoe. I wish people would respect the forest. That world pool blows my mind. It's a hell of a lot cheeper just to take it to the dump.

nah it's like sandwiched. I have a nice tap and die set and it was just spinning the ball. File would be worth a try if I already had one but meh, already ordered a new one. It's warrantied
