I didn't get to pass it to see its front but it looked like a 2nd gen 4R that they welded and 3rd gen rear on... I just know I didn't have windows that wrapped up into the roof line on my 98 4R

The 4runner gauge cluster takes itself way too serious. Who counts hash marks on the tach haha

The wood grain (I'm working to get rid of) wasn't serious enough?

That wood grain (burl) is awful, I remember it well as a kid riding in 3rd gen runners. Doesn't even look remotely believable, the same years of Pathfinder however had real wood trim and it looked great.

Lexus uses real wood and I still don't like it. Plan to wrap it all in brushed aluminium when I get motivated enough.

I need to make a trip to Salinas to grab all the black trim I scored for cheap.

Got Everything including switches for $40.

On Ebay I see them going for over $100 just for the stereo portion. Another $100 for front window switches, not including rears, and more.

Wonder how much someone would offer me for my wood o_O

It's a second gen 4runner, more likely it rusted out or got hit and the $5 for a junkyard bumper was worth more than the scrap value of the rest of the truck

haha I noticed that too on my computer at work. But it still works on my phone browser, weird.

I was watching a VICE interview on this ex-FB employee that used to filter live content, talking about the crazy PTSD he and his coworkers got from doing it and seeing people trying to upload so much horrible shit (suicide attempts, child/animal abuse, homeless beatings, etc) That is a job you *probably couldn't pay me enough to do

*I'd do it for a certain amount and then likely live to regret it
