880's only give like 1.5" of lift.

You could try one of the moog springs.

I don't know the numbers, because I haven't found them published anywhere, but Dobinsons has a wide variety of coils. Maybe there's something there?

'99 (and maybe '00) 4Runners also came with a slightly taller coil than other years. Again, don't know the details, but I've heard it mentioned a few places.

Yeah I get conflicting answers on single cabs when I search. 1.5 would be fine.

Also trying to figure out why my stockers sit so tall, when I measured it a couple months ago the fender -> hub measurement was taller than the ones I found searching around here. Maybe because of the single cab thing.

1.5" of lift for an "average" truck though, which probably means extended cab 3.4L? A standard cab 2.7L weighs 200lbs less from the factory (source: (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/1st-generation-tacoma-curb-weight-all-models.613190/). Most of that weight is coming off the front, so us little guys will get more-than-average lift, right?

I feel like my front end sits high, too. I don't think my springs are original, but I think they are "OEM replacement" installed by the previous owner.

Headstrong lists it at 1.5" for a 4wd double cab on 880s, which is a 415 lb difference.

But, if we're sitting higher on stock springs, maybe that extra lift won't be noticed by us as much.

Maybe I should make some coffee.

I'm interested in whatever you and your coffee find.

My 200k mile leaf springs are tired, so I've had my eye on Deaver J59 leafs for a while. I would need coils and shocks to match, and am leaning Dobinsons but haven't committed to anything yet. I talked to CrikeyMike and he recommended the C59-276 but said they'd likely give 2" lift for a standard cab/4cyl rather than the advertised 1.0-1.5". The Deavers will probably ride a bit higher than their advertised 1.5" for the same reasons so maybe it's fine?

Maybe I should start drinking coffee.

I should have included this before...

In addition to the springs on this list, I saw someone in the 2nd Gen forum (here) mention a C59-316 for their standard cab.
