    Classic lines. I think these are 105s. The front bumper looks like an ARB Sahara.

    Yes. It does actually work. And unsprung weight is actually a thing. You're talking about a piece of plate, bolted to another, mostly flat plate of sorts. If you've ever done any real rock crawling or wheeling, you might realize that it would actually work. I would not bolt or weld 1/4" steel plate onto the bottom of the LCAs, that would be stupid and unnecessarily heavy. Take a look at the armor options that are already out there for LCAs and learn something. There are steel options and aluminum options.

    I've smacked the hell out of this aluminum Asfir skid plate a few times and it just bounces back.

    You can see the skid marks right across the bottom. This was the easy part of that trail.

    Keeping up with it all is pretty draining, but I can do it for a while.


    I also had distractions - turns out a jigsaw is great for opening the top of a pumpkin.
