I'd like to have all 3 in the picture. That 66 mustang looks great.

I could never get behind the idea of the convertible, I just feel way too exposed. If I wanted wind slapping me around while traveling I'd take up hang gliding or something

Having had an Convertible I flipped? I have to say. The only reason I’d own one is to drop the top on a hot day and enjoy a not hot cabin. Lol

I like how you are denying the fact that the midwest is humid AF when its hot out and that wouldn't do anything to cool you down

Its even more fun in an old british car, they were clearly not built for tall people. My eyes line up perfectly with the top of the windshield and I feel like I should have a motorcycle helmet on.

We’re 3 months into the semester have yet to receive a grade on any of the homework turned in for this class.

Homework makes up 50% of the grade, so that’s nice

Creating that monster gave me a good idea; run beads going up/down.

Here, I was stitching (back/forth) for some reason when someone mentioned I should try C's otherwise I'll puddle a bunch of metal. It's the weld on the far right -

    20211101_103213.jpg

    So I tried those C's

    20211101_104216.jpg

Going vertical, as a first timer, doing C's for the first time, at near waist level with nothing to lean on....I'd say it came out well

T at the bottom didn't help

I like to do the triangle stack when doing vertical, honestly its easier pushing down than pushing up

This is my dad's 54 MG TF, He got it in 73 when my parents moved to Socal from Long Island. He drove it through the mid 80s then it went on blocks in the Garage. He is 6'1 and had to slouch to sit in it if the top was up.

Nice! Its amazing the difference in car design from then till now. I don't know if people have gotten taller or designers finally figured it out.

That Healey was my Dads, and he's not a whole lot shorter than I am. But he drove it for a solid 20 years before it got too rusty and unsafe to drive, even through snow with the top up. Likewise parked it in the 80s, took it apart, and we only got it back together in 2006ish.
