Leaky shit box needs a place to leak

 

Looks like someone has a case of the mondays

 

No one wakes up and says "I wanna have a leaking vehicle"

Just one of those preventative things, especially on a new house.

Half the garage space will be used for a table setup, welder, tools, etc.

 

Neither of my shit boxes have leaked when they were in use


The 99’s been parked for over a year now and seems to have lost all its brake fluid somewhere

 

Most concrete sealers come up with brake clean so be careful what you choose

 

I'm not sure, maybe a concrete company would be able to offer additional sealing?

I can ask the developer then about what is most often used.

I'm all too unfamiliar, so I'd rather ask versus stupidly buy a product and quickly ruin a new driveway

 

Yep, that's the only stuff I could find at the time that could do oil resistance and wouldn't change the look of the concrete.

For the record, I've never hired anyone to do anything, so I'm your DIY house guy lol

No, I ended up just getting the garage stuff. You'll probably want a reapplication every few years on the ghost shield

 

I live in a HOA community that would bitch if the driveway was a different color. So maybe there's a better alternative somewhere for you that's more commercial if you don't have that limitation. However, I believe most epoxy-based coatings aren't very UV stable. In fact the bit of the Rock Solid that's exposed outside the garage door has significantly faded in just 3 years, even though it's better than epoxy.

 

No HOA where we'll live but there will be exposure to the sun for damn sure.

 

Paint it camo, can't fine you for an unorthodox driveway if they can't see the driveway

 

Yet.... It's a new development, it'll come in time

 

Just spray Scotchgard on the driveway a couple times a year, works for couches why not concrete
