    Fun fact
    Eggs don't require refrigeration.
    AND
Varnished eggs stay fresh for months.
USFDA went overboard to prevent Salmonella poisoning.
Other countries don't wash eggs and they're stored without refrigeration.

I usually eat eggs well past their expiration date on the carton, as long as they don't float when you put them in a bowl of water they're still good

(Didn't want to clutter up his thread)

See here's the thing, I work for an OEM and we're small potatoes on the industrial scale. But I've been slowly (as well as my boss/GM/buddy) convincing the owner to save even more money we need to manufacture our own parts and not buy em from vendors/manufacturers.

While this is true, my real goal is that we'll have all the equipment for making anything and I'll be able to do all my hairbrain mods without having to buy the tools myself. It's the long con

My Hitachi grinder just feels better; Milwaukee's are still well within the 90-day return policy -

$180 M18 Milwaukee + $120 Milwaukee both felt worse than my $40 Hitachi

    Could be much worse too.

Ran into a guy in a 5G 4Runner who snapped an end link, and then the end of the sway bar took out his cv boot.

He’s still got a few days of wheeling, and then 600 mi home.

B&S got a new AGM battery and valve adjustment. Fires right up but smokes a bit for a minute. Valve guides?
Lightning strike blew out a thru hull sinking Yacht at dock.
Insurance totaled her and paid market value plus environmental abatement and refloat done by me.:D

That's fantastic! I'd like a dog when I finally buy some land. I look forward to having my shop, I intend to have an office dog. Probably rescue an older dog?

My first guess would be valve guides, a leak down test would let you know for sure. That is amazing that, of all the docked boats, yours was the one that gets smack :bananadead: at least you received proper compensation! Is boat insurance expensive?

Thankfully not, I'm renting the studio upstairs in the same house. It works out really well because the missus and I use the 1bd downstairs as the house and upstairs is just a glorified bedroom. She feels better about me not being outside and I don't try to kill her in her sleep with my night terrors :anonymous:

Good to hear you're indoors on a mattress:hattip:
Yacht ins. was $980 year limited to Chesapeake Bay area. It gets more expensive with range, countries.
Oddly I've had 2 boats struck by lightning.
Whats the latest on Culpeper, Va.?
