So, with new hydro assist lines, proper reservoir that prevents cavitation and a rebuilt ram the crawler steering works great.

Pump didn't make a single noise on a test drive and it didn't puke any fluid or make any foam in the reservoir. Drives nice and straight now lol

Fuck yeah, one check in the box from the list.

That's way better than a lot of us at the moment. Motivated to do more?

I was gonna take a break and walk the dogs but the wind really kicked up and I'm hiding inside. I might start cutting the brackets off this new axle or work on the jeep some if the wind dies down

Upper arm bolt loose? That would be no fun if it backed out completely

Yup. All four of them. Gonna give them a chance to make it right - bushings looks like they might be chewed up.

Maybe I should get a spool gun. At least it shouldn’t get worse now…

    Yikes

More and more I find that mechanics fuck it up all the same, they just have the ability to fix it more timely than I could and probably have nicer tools

Ya. QC is nonexistent, which is pretty bad considering what’s at stake and how much they charge these days. New uca bushings and end links were upward of $2k and they didn’t even tighten the bolts? Sheesh.

Drilled relief hole at the end of the crack? Someone's band-aided broken aluminum before

For the minimal amount I have to TIG anything, spool guns are the best. But I've already told you that before:gossip:
