Need a stick welder first :(

This thing has a disturbing lack of triangles. Gonna need some reinforcement if I’m gonna throw a kayak rack on top.

Should be easy enough to clean up with the die grinder and mig

    Ugh....yeah lots of grinding.

The trailer (that's what it is right?), is enclosed which tells me that frame is just to hold the outer sheet metal.

I hope the square tubing is strong enough and intact!

Yeah, it’s a little enclosed trailer someone gave me. I think it’ll be fine with a bit of help.

yup the square tube is just for holding the sides on. I’m less concerned about the material itself and more about the welds…they’re pretty ugly. Like, never welded before ugly.

but it was a trailer for a band for a long time, and seems to have held together.

What if it's actually the rust holding it together

Nein. The frame in Utah is being held by a friend. He’s hopefully going to be bringing it soon in exchange for a transmission and a little cash (boy am I glad I saved this trans from scrap, lol)

Then it’s just get the frame from Miguel here and I can knock the two rust buckets out, and if a beds attached to the frame from Miguel get this 95 back on the road. Appears the frame survived the impact. Bed took it all

Meanwhile I’m still stuck waiting on shops for the 01.. perpetual stand still till they’re caught up. (And they have all my stuff for the shit too)

“Easy” other than actually getting the frames here.
Good news is I have PTO accruing like crazy and should be able to make the run around spring if I don’t have them by then.

I’ve got a gallon of steel-it black, a fancy new soda blaster, and some other shit to strip and prep these new frames to hopefully last a lifetime
