At that mileage, it'd drive it down to the $8k range if clean title.

Most people don't look at the literal value/cost of damage when looking at buying a damaged vehicle, they just see it as damaged. Not to mention the other lingering issues that could come up once it's 'fixed', not worth the headache to most when you could buy something in much better shape with that kind of money.

    $6800

Had just under 280k miles, but also had Fox 2.5 coilovers, an ARB bumper up front, and Trailgear bumper in the rear.

You're mistaking it for the $12k I was asking and being offered for my 4Runner.

I was looking for an 80 series before I moved and had my 4R listed.

My similarly-specced '98 with 200k was at more reputable dealer with a $7200 sticker last summer. It wasn't in Denver, but it was within a two-hour drive.

In addition to lower miles, mine had all of its body parts intact, the airbag still in the steering wheel, and a clean (not salvage) title.

I do like the red, though...

I really liked the Tundra @esxcli which is the variant before the latest release, but was too underwhelmed with the interiors they all have.

For what light duty trucks sale for though, it makes no sense for me to buy one over a few-years-old diesel heavy duty.

The diesel truck will be harder to out tow or overload it, retain a better value, and generally have a longer lasting powertrain.

We caught a decent Tom today, the hunter walked .6 of a mile and decided he didn’t want to walk the last 100 yards, turned around.

    Lunchtable! I got this:
Differential and Transmission Drain Plug Crush Washers Gaskets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFJ24WD
but it didn’t have the right size for my transmission drain plug, so I got a 10 pack of 12157-10010 based on what parts.toyota.com said, and these are also too big. Anyone know the correct p/n? 04 A340f. Looking for the small one pictured next to the plug

I'm sorry I don't know the size, I'd guess it is probably an M12 or M14, but this kit should have a washer for you and is at every harbor freight

You guys just fix refrigerators and freezers :luvya:

It's Goatskin; really just wanted a leather glove with cut resistance so these just seemed perfect.

My Tillman gloves were the same Cut level 3 as these but not made of leather.

So I've toying with the idea of a Tundra. Maybe even the hybrid.

I've been wanting to be able to take the dirtbike(s) along on family camping trips, and the wife veto'd a toy hauler style trailer (the ones my 4Runner could pull are admittedly a tight fit for us/kids/dog/gear), but ironically enough she seemed okay with the idea of a new truck. I mean, I know which one is going to be more expensive, lol... But she really likes our travel trailer.

I added up the various weights and I'm likely to easily be within 200 lbs of the GVWR with a couple bikes and gear towing with a 3rd (or 4th) gen Tacoma. I really don't like the idea of maxing out the cargo capacity like that. Just towing the 3200# (dry) trailer with the 4Runner is about the max I'd want to go. So that pretty much leaves the Tundra unless I commit heresy and go to another brand, lol.

Anyhoo, anyone have thoughts on the new twin turbo? I am very excited at the prospects of the MPGs (~24 hwy), and even more if the hybrid version ever gets the MPGs published, assuming the hybrid motor isn't just a power adder.

I'm a little hesitant to get the 1st model year of a major redesign, but Toyota's motors are almost always bullet proof (except the 3.0L). Running the numbers, I could (potentially) break even in about 10 years if I go for an older model (cheaper purchase but shit MPGs). I know I'd hate myself every time I hit the gas pump with a 14mpg 5.7L.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
It's the best decision that can be made right now.
