I mean, technically they could ignore it and rely on customers to self-report online purchases at the time of tax filing, which the majority of online retailers do outside of Amazon AFAIK

I agree it's stupid but not sure why rockauto is the only retailer throwing a tantrum about it when AFAIK they don't have to

The "coil falling out" thing is related to shocks. As long as you don't get them too long, you'll be fine.

The C59-220V would be the best 2" option

The C59-223V would work for the rear, matching up well with those front coils

 

Just out of curiosity since you're here, what shocks would you recommend for a stock weight rig as well that's looking to prioritize comfort?

 

Well known for outstanding suspension support and knowledge over on the 4runner forums. If I didn't end up going the ADS route, I was going to go with Dobinsons from @Crikeymike.

There are far more shock options for an LC than say, a 4Runner (3G) or Tacoma (1G).

Might as well keep it. That's the same one that I run in the 4Runner and had in the Tacoma prior to that. Gives you comms options if the GMRS fails or someone in the group only has CB.

 

have you seen the nitro PN which explicitly states Tacoma fitment?
