Really it's a Ford? Lol

I have no idea what that car in Harry Potter was. That's just what I was told. Is it basically the same car?

 

Looks like a fun project, lot of money was put into that at one point. I don't fit in Miatas though as much as I like them. Maybe @BartMaster1234 would fit though, he likes them too I think

 

Yup looks like it to me, that movie takes place in UK so it makes sense that they would use an Anglia to fit the aesthetic. It was a pretty common car back in the day, and i know for sure the one in the movie was an Anglia, no idea what year.

Yeah they make 5 lug wheels.

 

They did a limited run of 5 lug f5s, I don't believe they do anymore but you can request them I think. Thought about seeing if vin would for my Z actually

 

I just realized I probably won't even fit in a Miata.

Nice thing about DeLoreans is John himself was a pretty tall guy, so he designed the door to have a pocket in it for tall people.

Downside is it's sort of a turd of a vehicle, the style is iconic but everything else about it is pretty awful

 

I'd go with a more period correct wheel from Japan.

Looks really clean though, I'd drive it. Wonder if it came from Hawaii?

 

They handle really well & are fun to drive. Although like you said that one looks like it had lots of work done to it it's still not worth $5K.

I think of Miatas as a girl's car.

I meant the DeLorean, I like Miatas. They're very fun to drive but too uncomfortable for me to fit my feet in, also I almost look over the windshield

 

Oh it's like John put sprinkles on a pile of shit. It's slow, underpowered, and unreliable.

There were three or four folks on Mercer Island, where I used to live and go to High School that had them. One was in BTTF dress up, they're neat looking, but 3 kids having them kinda ruined the specialness of it for me. They aren't even rare, I bet you could find a good example of one that you could afford now.
