Thanks man will do. I've read different opinions on alignments after coilover adjusting, but might as well 2 birds 1 stone lol.

It wasn't so much that as it was after looking at the vehicle and really thinking about what you're getting for just over $40K. The interior of my 21 year old truck is in better shape. Granted it hasn't had however many kids doing whatever they do in the seats haha. And in terms of that specific one, for 4 grand more I could get walk away with a brand new 5th gen TRD OR (But, Toyota is no longer taking orders/reservations so that's out anyway.) Anyway, just made me decide to back off. Put some more into the Tacoma, if I want to get a DD do that. Wait it out. So instead of buying a GX I went and got tacos haha.

That's good, setting aside the desire to get something you "want"

Everything's definitely overpriced though, and that's Everywhere.

    Yeah definitely.
A "just because you can, doesn't mean you should," market.

So now I'm just deciding what comfy seats to put in the 1st gen.

    That...makes no sense

Then again, some people just really want something so bad they'll do whatever they can.

You just reminded me of this text I got from when I put up my 4Runner for trade only

    Screenshot_20220129-135522_Messages.jpg

He wasn't the first, or last; I could've taken people's money left and right if I wanted to.

Scheel-mann would be nice. I always hear about issues with bolstering failing on Corbeaus after a bit.

I might try to get in touch with Scheel-mann again. I don't know anyone who has run Corbeau so that's good to know. Looking at the Recaro comfort series right now, love that some have extendable seat cushion.

I've been following this one for a bit. Sort of confusing. They bought it as an incomplete poorly done SAS 1st gen. Then tossed the 1st gen frame and slapped the body on an 80 series frame that had a destroyed body. And it's running a Chevy 350 now...

I had cipher seats for a long time with very aggressive bolsters and the fabric started wearing almost immediately due to the sliding in/out. I think for a truck ideally you want one side bolstered and the other flat, or at least less aggressively bolstered... but idk.

Also jesus christ scheel-manns are expensive

I was supposed to hang out with a friend later but he's not feeling the best so I might end up walking downtown for some wings and beer

Got the starter in, definitely one of those barely doable fits. took quite a bit of time to come up with the right combinations of swivels and extensions. Burned another 30+ minutes just trying to figure out the right combinations of rotation and angle to get the starter free in its little window between the bell housing and motor mount.
