Those fucker are expensive. I paid $4700 for mine. Granted it had almost 290k miles and was bone stock but still.

Edit: Also it's an Arizona no-rust edition.

The 05-09 4runners with the V8 are the better years. The motor is the VVTI version of the 2UZ and has more power stock than the non-VVTI 2UZ in my 2003.

I loved our visit minus the last few days when I was as sick as a dog. We went all over the west side of the country (eastern side is where the drug trade goes through and we were told to stay away lol). We were there 2 weeks and stayed in hostels, spent several days on Isla de Ometepe on totally some crazy hippy commune lol. Went volcano boarding down an active one. It was a fun trip.

The majority of it is shipped on ice and usually not from US waters so I doubt that distance even matters anymore. Tuna spends more time frozen on a ship than it does in transport to a restaurant in the middle of the US.

Always enjoy seeing people push them. An old favorite is this 944:

    https://expeditionportal.com/porsche-944-across-africa/

Also the East Africa Safari Rally begins on the 10th, worth keeping up with if you're interested. One of my favorite builders, Tuthhill, is usually a standout. They went out of character this year and built a 911 for Block since he's running it for the first time. Going to be good.

    Can't wait to snag a 912.

**Worth noting they prepped Renée Brinkerhoff's 356 (on tracks and skis!) for her record Antarctica journey.

Crunch spicy tuna rolls are pretty simple and one of my favorites

I can't do the sashimi or whatever it is where it's just slices of raw fish
