    Why?

Best BBQ I had was in Austin. I like to think we have some damn tasty BBQ here in the SF Bay but on a business trip to Austin, I was proven wrong. Ribs were awesome!

People outside of Texas seem to think Texas brisket is spicy, at least people here in KC. I’ve never found it.

Yeah I ended up doing the starter on the Ford last weekend... The blue truck needs some front suspension and axle resealing that I have been putting off. I was hoping to get the Tacoma rear sorted so I have at least one spare truck but I've sort of stalled on that too.

I'm dead in the water when it comes to anything beyond required maintenance. The energy just hasn't been there, I'm trying to catch up on a lot personal work and self-care after years of avoiding it. it takes a lot more energy to get my shit together than I'd imagined haha

Funny enough I think it might be a marketing blunder.

    Nothing wrong with Vans!

I only knew Keen for their boots, but they never fit me well anyway even though I thought they were cool.

the only good thing I found while staying with my dad in Mississippi was BBQ and sea food

$10-15 would buy insanely large portions of good food

My microwave's door ceased to latch the other day, rendering the microwave inoperable.

I found the repair manual today and dug in. "I hope it's not the $50 latch", I thought to myself. "Maybe it will be the $48 spring and I can just find a hardware store substitute". Well it was neither of those... it was the spring anchor, which is part of the $300 door.
