They aren't hardly filters they flow so well because they don't filter. I don't buy vehicles that have had K&N filters or have the K&N sticker on the airbox. They shorten the lives of sensors, the throttle body, and the valves and combustion chamber. Luckily k&n is kind enough to include those stickers so I have a clear indicator of whether or not the vehicle has been mistreated. The paper media filter that is included stock flows more than enough for the engine.

I’d get rid of my K&N in a heartbeat if I could do something to match the sound. I’m a dumb teenager and I love the sound of a loud accelerating car.

 

I’m fucking stupid, it’s does have a solid rear axle.

 

I would, go to oriellys and get a WIX filter for the stock box.

 

What’s wrong with OEM?

 

I rubbed a hole in my intake pipe thing in May.

You can bet the electrical tape I used as a temp fix is still in use.

OEM is good, it's a paper media filter like the WIX one. Just a fair bit more expensive and you have to go to a dealer to get it. The WIX ones have more pleats which is nice though.

 

does amsoil make air filters for these trucks lol

 

Maybe, I dunno. Green filters are pretty good too if you want a washable filter. But I like the basic WIX from oriellys.
