Reliable up to 100K miles doesn't seem all that reliable.

 

RX8's were abominations and shouldn't have even carried the 'RX' name after the 7

 

To play devil's advocate, if you get a new car every 3-5 years it's "reliable" for the first owner or two

 

Remove the oil injection system and all of a sudden the carbon and oil additives that don't burn well and wears out the seals stops getting introduced so they last longer

You just need to add 2 stroke oil to the gas

 

I think that's why it was made an 8 instead of 7.

 

Is that why Rx owners on Insta are dumping oil in the gas tank?

 

It will never rid it enough to be both performance and reliable. That's just the way it goes.

 

That's why the LS swap was invented

 

Eww, push rod chevy. I'd rather have and unreliable 13B.

60k was more common on the Renesis RX8 rotary. They truly are the worst, but the body is nice. Be neat to put a real engine in

 

I just wish it was a coupe. Don't care much for the back half. Like they mated a Mazda3 to the back of a sports coupe.

 

Makes sense. The guy who died was an electrical engineer and I was helping clean out his condo. Didn't find whatever he was using with this antenna...
He also had an overkill VHF/UHF wrapped antenna on his kitchen table for his little 32" TV and was a hoarder. Most of what I grabbed was just for a cool factor and is otherwise useless.

 

I do have one. its dirty but in great shape.

@Tour991 you have a Pixel phone yeah? Do you have issues getting it to charge?

mine's almost 2 years old now and for the last year or so it's been a bitch to keep charging, if it gets bumped at all it stops. But as of yesterday now it won't charge at all, tried 3 different cords/outlets + computer and no dice. Wtf
