    Colorado just enacted a law saying that all job listings must include a salary range. It spices things up a bit when current employees can see what the new one is going to make.

    Yeah I can see both sides to that argument. It does help a lot when job searching to know off the bat what they're offering before you spend a bunch of time trying to get an interview only to find out its nowhere near what you had in mind.

    But when people in the workplace get a whiff it can cause tensions among people in similar roles.

    I've always wondered if company accountants make bank because they write all the checks and know everyone's salaries lol.

    Maybe it's because of the leather couch I had back in my first apartment in school that had no AC, but I don't think I could do leather furniture ever again
