3 coats of kilz to cover that dark grey.




Pretty sure the only reason why the fix & flippers used that dark paint was to avoid priming over the gross old paint that was there. Just another way to cut corners and save a buck.

New drywall will get PVA primer. Hopefully one coat and done. But probably 2.

 

Yep. There is a small Chrysler dealer on the same highway. It had 4 or 5 Gladiators and more Wranglers on the lot than I could count while driving. I think the reality is setting in that driving a vehicle with the aerodynamics of a vehicle from the 1930s may be getting old -- especially with $5 a gallon gas on the horizon.

Looks like a crazed overproduction situation for a niche market vehicle.

Tons of them for sale here too, mostly bc they just buy new ones it seems, and the resale is crazy. I still like the 2 doors when they're very subtly done. Never like the Unlimiteds. My biggest issue with Jeep is the people who drive 'em. I like that I could buy a brand new vehicle with a tiny infotainment screen and manual windows. I wish more companies had stripped versions of vehicles. The commercial version of the new Defender 90 is pretty cool. I'm a sucker for a short wheelbase though.

Same here. I never gave them a thought one way or another. Then I started seeing a local group start slamming yotas with some with artificial drama to spike up views for pay. I lost whatever respect that I might have had. I've been around long enough the see the tide turn many times.

So mine's going to spend the week hanging out with some of its relatives getting the TC 4L regeared. I'm sure it will come home happy.

 

Every car niche has its bummer members, its just that some have a lot more haha, and Jeep is one, its hard to ignore that.

Haha Christ that’s a good one. I just stole the Weathertech mats from the 300zx and I felt bad.
