Rav4 hybrid. Anything hybrid is going to be mostly electric in stop n go so 40+ mpg in traffic.

Friend has one of these, he’s really good at keeping in electric mode, gets awesome mpg.

It’s also faster than the non hybrid one

If I could have afforded one that's what I would have got my wife. Instead she got a 4cyl Rav4.

The MPG is important but I'm fine with 20s city and 30 and change highway, plus I don't need something as big as the R4. (I'm keeping the truck as well) I haven't owned anything small and quick that's fun to drive (not just on commutes) so that's why I've been looking at those kind of vehicles.

It's too bad we won't get the GR Yaris. I'd sell all my vehicles for one.

I'll let ya know, thanks. The one I'm looking at has 11K on it and is a 2021 Autobahn DSG, I'm guessing PO swapped for a new 8 since its at the same dealer where they purchased. Hopefully that means not abused in its short life. Has your R been good overall?

Right? I'm curious what the GR Corolla will be like, but its a bummer we get left out of so many good cars.

It's been great, yep! No serious issues, just some little complaints here and there, about to hit 50k.

Not sure if they tweaked anything more than aesthetically for the Mk7.5 (I know they added cooled seats which I'm jealous of), but you might notice some... unnatural things...when you stop and go. It's very touchy about certain things. And the throttle response can take some getting used to. I've tweaked a lot out using OBDEleven (VAGcom) and the COBB AP has some benefits. Manual might be better in these regards.

Thanks. I've read about the bit of lag in spots, seems like something to just get used to which I'm ok with. I'm not sure if there were many changes either besides aesthetics. Most people seem pretty happy with them overall. It's my favorite body style of hatches too. Only bummer with the one I'm looking at is its black, I like that dark blue they did, but the deep black pearl isn't bad at all, definitely not my least favorite.

Ya I've got the grey. I wasn't picky about the color since there were only like 3 for sale in all of AZ at the time, and 2 were DSG... but I'm happy with the grey. Black would just bug me even more with scratches haha.
I would say after thinking about it more, that if it's been lowered like mine was, make sure they also did end links or they'll start clunking eventually.
