    Yep yep. I did stick back in the day, poorly. :laughing:. TIG is new to me though, feels like it pulls bits from other processes as well.

    I did not realize until very very recently that TIG machines could all do stick, but that makes a whole lot of sense.

    Yeah just kind of threw that out there to describe that, they both basically do the same thing, after you said 'it does stick too' lol

    Just wait until you start doing TIG and you're talking different cup sizes, only to then use a gas lens, clear cups, and what electrode to use!

    What's that? You prefer 2% lanthanated when doing stainless steel? Cool. You know what size you're going with? Cause that tungsten rod not only comes in 3/32, but also 1/16, 1/8, and 5/32 to name a few.

    Unless it was chromoly or titanium we just used good old fashioned coolant as the tapping fluid in the CNCs haha
