My first choice was a blue Focus RS. The Golf R is definitely the most subtle of the bunch. Most people don't even realize there's anything special about it until they get in it.

The used RS prices are insane too. I looked at em recently, I couldn't swing one if I wanted to haha. ST? Sure, RS no way.

ST was fun, and can be had for stupid cheap.

Can make a ton of torque with a few upgrades, though you'll get torque steer through the first 3 gears :anonymous:

Ya right now people think they're worth more since they're discontinued. Give it a little time and they'll realize the replacement parts aren't worth it lol
I was about 2 weeks too late over one locally. Ad was still up but pending sale. Would have been same price.

Yeah local ones are about $38-39K with 40K miles, if you find one with lower miles the price is bananas.

I've heard people talk about them wandering when you nail it down in a straight line. Seem fun though. I've never owned a FWD car.
Supposed to drive a JCW tomorrow.

I owned a handful, including an SRT4 as well as the ST.

Having brought up the ST made me look up my old posts on FocusST.org

Ran a big turbo, a GTX2867R externally gated, meth injection, E85 and 91 tunes, CPE intercooler, and several other mods. Exterior though was left completely stock.

What color was your ST? I think they look good stock. Besides wheels.

Silver, with the darker Rado wheels.

Had the wheels been that regular alloy-looking silver, it would've looked plain as hell (though it already did).

I do remember pulling off the ST badge though, make people think it was a regular Focus

The silver looks good, kinda makes it more of a sleeper too. Their dark grey and that dark blue they did were nice too. I don't know much at all about Fords, but I turn my head when I see certain Focus'

    I do too.
They make drilling rigs and ambulances out of them in Aus, among other things
