I been thinking of trying one. Abrasive wheels are a mess

 

I suppose it depends on what you need. A bandsaw will probably cut bigger stock, but this thing is fast and gets me nice cuts with decent angles (assuming I’m on my game )

 

If it's any consolation [EDIT] I had a yota 3.0 that was solid milkshake and it got ran for 10k miles in that condition.. head gasket was so bad I pulled the thermostat to keep it in temp range, then added equal parts coolant/oil every time the milkshake got low on the dipstick
