I read that there won't be a second season, the next chapter is going to be called 1932 and takes place 50ish years later. Kinda weird but we'll see

Not sure if this is possible in your neck of the country, but... if you're going to commute by bike, it helps to change your mindset about navigation. The roads that are best for cars are rarely the roads that are best for cycling. Even if it adds a a few miles, sticking to paths and residential streets will make for a much more enjoyable ride. I'd take a leisurely 10-15 mile ride over a 6-7 mile game of Frogger any day.

I'm not looking forward to any hikes. As it is I'm already shelling out $75 a week. I pay more in gas than my car payments.

I filled up the Ford yesterday but don't intend to drive it much. I only fill it up 1x a month or so lately anyways. Monthly insurance on the Sentra is cheaper than that last tank of diesel lol

16 mi round trip to work 2 days a week isn’t so bad.

The 40 mi trip to see the lady might kill me though.

Need to fix the motorcycle, too bad most of it is in iowa

I dunno, I leave the same time as my friend on the e-bike does some days, I get home faster than he does. Usually takes me 10-15min. He follows the same route, not sure if there's a better one for bikes but if there is it would be neighborhoods

Last time I rode my mt bike to work I got pulled over cause I still ride street like I'm a teenager. I never liked the share the road rules and always just road like everything was a street park. Bunny hopping on benches and stuff. Lots of side walk and parking lot crossing. There's no way I'd want to share the road with the a-holes driving today.

The real cost of $2.05 gas is a $40 pair of denim

    Taco Bell strikes again.

Both my work and my house are in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains, so when I got this truck in 2016 I immediately looked up trails in these mountains I could possibly take to get to/from. But no dice, these particular mountains there are tons of hiking trails but virtually no public access fire roads anymore. There used to be but they're mostly under lock and key now.

I'm hearing good things about these shows but have zero interest in actually watching them.
