it's funny when people think they can micromanage but have no idea what's going on.

Dealt with the software version of that at the last job. Manager couldn't believe that it was taking my buddy days to find the problematic code, implied that it should be easy and they're wasting time, and demanded to see the code. He spends 2 minutes looking at it before deciding that maybe it is in fact that tricky to find the problem in the code

    This.
And the BBQ and Pizza better never go away. Still get a nostalgia hit the rare times I eat them.

oh yeah, I use a Wacom 99% of the time, even when not using PS. I'm better at typing with it held in my hand than without lol.

Went through a period where I using a ton of Capture One and just wasn't using a tablet as much so I sold, added an iPad Pro to workflow at the same time, and now....I need/want to buy another Wacom haha. That 24" Cintiq Pro looks like a good middle of the road, no need for a MobileStudio, just want more screen real estate. What are you using?

    Stuff. Also things.
It really is a shitty system with terrible incentives. Worst of all, it can actively destroy what little loyalty your workforce might have. There isn’t much worse than training the person who’s making more money than you in the position you never had a chance to try for.

Work is still a little hectic, but we’re past the worst of it. I’m making some decent progress now, but I’m so damn slow. I spent Sunday and last night after work getting the walls shimmed to where everything is mostly plumb and square so now I should be able to just cruise.

We also decided to have someone bid the mud tape and texture, because it would take a pro no time at all and it’ll be done right. At first I wanted to do it myself, but now, no thanks! I’d much rather prime, paint and slap the outlets and switches in than try to pretend to be a drywall finisher!

The local dealer had one of these for sale for a bit...which makes no sense to me. The Camel Trophy will always be about the Discovery imo, it was a weird move on LR part.
Before that they had one of the Trek trucks up for sale (used, post race)
Other than that...mostly see 4 doors on street tires too. Only seen a handful of 90s, the only version I actually like.

@Kwikvette Speaking of street tires, I've been casually looking into some for when the car arrives. Whole different world for me haha, Michelin Pilot Super Sports seem well regarded, but only a "summer" tire. I don't want run flats

i got Michelin Pilot Super Sports for the Miata. I like them. Did autocross in them. Mostly just fun drives. I like them. Mixed opinions from the seasoned guys at the autocross - but I think good compromise tire/ money.

They're good tires but they wear in minutes, you can watch the tread come off with every pull or tight turn. I really liked my Bridgestone Potenza S007A
