I compare to the Panda Express across the street where I can get practically half a chicken, and 2 cups of rice, and half bottle of sauce for $8.50

Hell, even Chipotle is a better deal than TacoBell

Yeah, the 15+ minutes wait since early 2020 has killed it for me.

Cheaper/healthier to go home and eat a frozen meal or go to the store and grab a rotisserie chicken and some sides lol

Mmm Panda Express...we have a Panda Express Innovation Kitchen near my work, it's like Panda Express but they try out new recipes there. They make these amazing Chinese food burritos wrapped in this rice pancake tortilla thing. Orange chicken burritos are so fucking good

I think they're offered at regular pandas now

Yep. I keep a stock of frozen Costco chicken and some of their frozen meals. Always something available at home if I want it.

The chicken is a good idea, I'll have to try that.

I had to reframe my whole mindset about it. Used to be very all or nothing "if I'm not cooking something healthy then it doesn't matter if I eat out". If I'm not feeling like making anything that packaged salad, frozen pizza, or burritos at home is definitely is still a lot cheaper, more convenient, and a breakeven health/calories wise over a burger and fries from most places :notsure:

There are a few recipes I make in bulk and freeze portions of as well

Yeah, it seems like they glossed over how many people it takes to full support/maintain roles while selling a different story

I guess the look went into the 90s...

I prefer Marisa Tomei a little less fancy
