1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

These are the set I ordered -



The overall fixture is pretty much a 3x3 cube, rounded corners.

Front of my bumper has 3x3 cut outs, with rounded corners.

It's a perfect match.

 

I'm just sticker shocked at how much "quality lights" cost. I mean I know there are tons of options for like $50 but damn.

 

My auxbeams are bright asf

Lol not that it matters.

I did like the cheap fogs I had up front, and chase/fogs it currently has on the rear.

The light just isn't focused enough or as bright.

Also the light has a slight green tint to it.

 

Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few who like the old gen Frontiers. They're boring in a nice way.

 

I don’t like how blue my round lights are, the ditch lights I got in 2018 are white and fairly bright.

 

Yeah 95% of people who buy Jeeps dont "need" a Jeep.
The same way that 95% of people who buy a pickup dont "need" a pickup.
Though you could argue that almost nobody "needs" a Jeep because of less utility.
I'd still drive a new 2 door JL as a beach truck though. But also, they're expensive as shit.

 

I get you, but that older 6 isn't what I'd recommend.

It's like telling someone to get a Pick Up with the 3.0, over a Tacoma 3.4

I will say, I'd love a nice clean hard body Nissan.

That style lived for a damn long time.

Nissan said it simply - "the roads our customers are driving haven't changed, so why mess with the truck?" Or something like that.

Ah damn, they didn't fair well then? I never used them but maybe once or twice.

 

I did see that and browsed through it slightly.

Definitely a badass rig! I was going to ask about his rear bumper.

 

It makes sense, I won't fault em for their logic. They're one of the few in our who get what people were/are doing with those pickups. Its like Toyota and the 70 series, they know its mining companies, NGOs and tradesmen etc using those things, not just 4WD fans, so no reason to change it.
