My best offer is $7500, and in Utah he'd be wise to take it.

yeah it was pretty shitty given all the stuff we still had to do, got bent over on the cost of that repair and the rental car for the couple days. But we ended up camping in Big Sur after the wedding on the Pacific Coast Highway so I'm just glad it didn't decide to give out on that part of the trip, going around one of those windy cliff corners lol. That would've been really bad.

yeah it was nuts, I always thought if I had a wheel bearing go out that it would start showing symptoms well before. It may have when I was cruising up the 5 for a few hundred miles but I just didn't notice since I was going straight through pretty much. But once it went, it went out big...they showed it to me and said that if I had gone much further I would have lost my wheel on the road, or my brakes entirely. Shitty timing for the wedding and all but it definitely could have happened at a worse time on the way up, or on the PCH

Needless to say after that experience, I'm definitely going to make the wheel bearing and LBJ inspection a more regular part of my routine

Glad you made it safe and sound and that someone was able to do the bearing job. That job blows no matter how you have to do it haha

yeah I got real lucky on a number of accounts, all things considered. The shop was literally right there off the exit that I took when I noticed something funky going on, I just pulled right in. It was a huge shop that specialized in imports (Saab, Volvo, BMW, etc.) but they had probably 6 garages and a dozen lifts. Had to order the bearings but luckily Santa Cruz is a pretty big town so they were able to get it all done on Friday for me before the end of the day.

Well I feel stupid, the stereo in the cruiser wasn't bad. One of my door speakers was shorting to the body, just rechecked everything after the new one stopped working and found that. Re insulated and Bam sound and more volume. Guess Ill throw the Sony back in the cruiser and put the new Kenwood in the Z, everything works out haha.

That's a tube bumper right? Not a huge fan of those, which is why I sprang for the full plated one.

But I thought you Californians loved baja tube bumpers cause it makes your truck more race truck like. Also Zane's bumper grows avacados for your toast.

I hate Baja bumpers. It's quite ugly IMO. It also leaves a lot of things exposed, including your radiator.
