Works well on bumpers and fender flares. Actually lasts longer than some of the products sold specifically for that, and much cheaper

 

Map gas on the fenders make it looks good

 

I’d imagine that’s what they were going for.

Yeah I've heard of guys using heat guns too. Also heard using heat makes it look worse though when it fades again?

I wish we didn't have fender flare holes and I could just delete those. Mine need painting again.

Hey, different strokes for different folks.

 

I took mine off for awhile and used black plugs to cover the holes, didn't really dig the look though and put them back on

 

Yeah even with the good plugs it doesn't look great. I think I'm going to pull mine and have shop color match em this time. Might last longer.

 

Are the 5 lug fenders a direct fit? They didn't come with flares so could try and find them in your color.

Not 100% sure they fit though

Not sure. Feel like it'd be tough to find the right color in good nick though.
There's a shop that's done work for me before that doesn't charge a bunch for them though, proper plastic priming and paint/clear etc. We get such bad sun here through summer, that's part of the issue. Mine lasted almost 3 years
