Even if you lift you’re doing it wrong according to someone!

My shop is really just a separate two car garage, so 8’ ceilings and all that. No 2-post lift for me :(

When I finally got my power rack out of storage, I found out it’s really made for commercial gyms with 9 or 10 foot ceilings. Ended up cutting out a 4” section from each upright and welding it all back together like a redneck :p

How tall are the ceilings in that new hotness of yours?

I'm gonna have to measure, really I don't have a ceiling to contend with I have rafters and a loft though. I don't think I can make a full two poster work, I could do a half height two post or a four post though.

I really wish I had open rafters here. Even if I did, I’d still be stuck with the lower ceilings.

As much as I’d love to have some land and a shop with a high bay, we are suburbanites and that’s just how it is haha

I’m still beyond happy that my lady has her own attached one car garage and I have a place to park my daily in, work out in, and wrench on stuff. And I have plenty of room to park my truck and my CJ without having to place musical cars every time I need to get out of the shop.

Besides, rumor has it that there’s a local TW dude looking into getting a 2-poster in his big ass shop :spy:

It’s basically like having one of my own, right?

    :D

TBH I'm so busy with other folks projects I never work on my own any more. If it wasn't for my friend Jayson I'd never work on my own shit.

The shame is it's a 1976... one year off from SMOG exemption.

We always make fun of him that he has to use that poor emissions choked 350.

    Ouch...interesting that it's a 350 vs a 3.8 V6 because it looks so much like a Base.

Wasn't the base model an inline 6? That's what allData says.

I take it using the "non-recommended" battery brand would diminish its value as well :burp:

And that radiator cap too. But I'll take the PS reservoir with the metal cap.

Right now I'm having a problem with OEM caps lasting about a year on both the Tacoma and the 100. I've switched back to Stant.
