    Was looking through someones CARB-legal LS swap in his 80 series.

    Marks4wd has adapters to mate to the LC transmission, or use a GM variant (ew), and a ton more.

    Be badass to LS swap the 80, just need a #gofundme

    Cali makes it literally 10x harder. If I have any issues with the evap or cats, im registering mine in florida with my sister.

    Damn, that sucks. I heard that if the vehicle had a gvwr that was lower than the motor you can't use. I think a cruiser is heavy enough to run at least a 5.3 in though.

    Ik there are carb legal ways but you gotta get it inspected and approved after all the work and only certain things are allowed

    Yeah, I'd love an Oregon address or Arizona address to use.

    Arizona cause it's close and registration is cheap AF.

    Oregon would be better cause if I recall correctly, disabled veterans can get a lifetime veteran plate there.
