I doubt many many are looking for 1980’s to 1990’s horns though.

You’re right, may be a little pricey.

They might work with you though if they know you want to buy in bulk...or they might tell you to get lost thinking that they'll make a lot more selling them one by one to other customers. Won't know until you talk to the dude but hopefully @zero4 still knows someone there and can help put in a good word

There was a huge tire depot in Santa Clarita (still there today) back when I was a kid that had been there for decades and owned by the same guy still, name was Mike...place was Big Mikes Tires I believe. Dude was such a dick and had a huge reputation for being a major asshole, yet for some reason the community loved him and he got a lot of business there. Still does I guess seeing that the place is still there.

I ordered tires from him once as a kid for my older '99 Prerunner back in the day, they were some Dueller AT Revo 2s (not the original AT Revos)....well he ended up ordering me the originals and when I told him I had asked for the 2's he told me to "fuck off, kid"....LOL. He ended up having one of his counter guys call me back and ordering them for me but that was the kind of guy he was.

This is true. Specialty junkyards aren't usually cheap cause they know they usually will have what you need. And junkyards around here (except for Pick Your Part) don't let you pull your own parts so you can't walk around the yard unsupervised. I know the owner too of course if he is still the owner.

I wonder how he's doing in this day and age of Yelp reviews and social media internet justice warriors...I'm betting he sold the business not too long after I was there, that was back in 2004 or 2005 a few years before social media really started taking off.

Haha, kind of sounds like the owner of the Caddy Junk yard. Lots of people hated him, so much that he used to go by a different name to throw people off.

Call the Junkyards in your area (or all the ones you have time to call). Tell them your company wants the be the sole purchaser for all Cadillac horns that roll through. Tell them you want to pay $X for non working ones or $X+Y if they test them. Have them send them over when they get them. in a $5 flat rate box (Negotiate the shipping as well). Remind them that horns are super easy to remove.

Target dismantlers first. Stay away from chains. The rust belt would be where I'd start.

Enjoy not wasting your time hunting them in Junk yards

    That would be amazing!

They came in very very select Cadillacs, Buicks, and Oldsmobiles. Not every single car had them, only the higher optioned cars.

    I'll PM you!

I kind of like wasting my time hunting in junkyards though, haha. It's fun to see all these different vehicles and get parts yourself.

Of course as I ramp up my production, my opinion will change.

That's an excellent idea though. I'm buddy buddy with the gate person at my local Pick-n-Pull, maybe I can get him to do something.

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
I find my self wandering aimlessly through junkyards seeing what will fit and won’t fit my cars...

My 5-Lug? I don't intend to try, the last owner put brand new tires on it. Still has the paint marks.

Maybe when I end up replacing the KO2's.

@Sperrunner Hard part about finding a whole utility box is they were mostly made for mid-size and full-size pickups, and most of them have an open bed. I want an enclosed one.

I definitely do not need all that room either. I can fill maybe one cabinet with tools, and the other with horns.
