Finally feeling like Im making progress with this dog. Ive figured out her "I need to piss" mannerisms and have managed to have way fewer accidents than yesterday. Also, no crying in the crate tonight! Maybe Ill sleep more than the 4 hours she let me get last night.

For whatever reason the neighbors are launching off the good South Carolina type fireworks right now. Not a peep out of Ms. Puppy. Guess being a half mile from a gun range got her used to that real quick as today sounded like a busy day over there.

    Reserected from the dead.
    They are all 5/8"

Drill the pin hole out to 1/4" and you can put a small padlock on it .

They are soft steel, so they drill easy.

Ive got a bolt style locking pin on mine. Forget the brand, but being able to tighten it up takes all the slop out of the bike rack in the reciever tube.

    Exciting progress!!

You got a smart one, you'll have her trained up in no time :D

Have you ever used hot dog bite as training treats? The cheapest pack of hot dogs cut into tiny bits will go a looooong ways and the dogs love them lol

Two weeks and 3500 miles later, the truck's back in the garage... with the cat intact, even.

Utah, Death Valley, California from Santa Cruz to San Diego with quick stops at the Grand Canyon and Four Corners on the way home.

Thanks to @turbodb for the Death Valley pointers.
