    I can understand that.

Why do you think I converted my truck to 4WD? Absolutely no reason besides because I can, and I wanted to.

I live in a big metropolitan city I have absolutely zero use for 4WD.

Sorta, they're gonna check for warpage, cracks, if there are none then they'll clean it fully and replace the valve stem seals and regrind the valve seats if needed

Oh yes, planning on running my buddy's old T3, stock 300ZX turbo mani (flows really well), nistune, 800cc injectors. Pushing 15-18psi, maybe 20 if it feels comfortable still AFR wise. Just shooting for mid 400s power wise. This engine is so overbuilt for boost 20psi is nothing to it. My buddy ran 42psi through his the other day with an hx40 turbo and made 680hp to the wheels on the Dyno. Out of a 3.0l v6....

Nissan sells you this old car in the turbo version with 6psi of boost stock. But they knew what you're gonna do so they built the heads with 13 head bolts per head, that's insane. 13 bolts for just 3 cyls. Go look up how many studs/bolts most common cars have... Even v8s.... This thing was built to take boost

Look how many freaking head bolts there are

So this specific car could've had a turbo from the factory? Or was the engine just turbo'd on other cars?

Yeah you could get them from the factory with a turbo as well. I chose an NA because the conversion is very simple and the NA models are usually less abused so it's a cleaner engine and trans to start with. The NA have a slightly higher compression ratio too which in this case is gonna help me reach my power goal a bit faster. The turbos had a 7.8:1 compression ratio, the NA are 9:1. In terms of tuning it'll be a bit tougher but still very doable considering 9:1 isn't very high compression by modern standards. Ill have much more tuning capability now than Nissan did in 1984.

EFI, actually very good EFI too. Very adjustable (well ever since a forum member cracked the code to expanding them in 2009).
