haha I've been getting about the same in the Sentra. I was thinking aftermarket cruise lol

I know it needs plugs and wires, I think they're the originals

Have you had to do much to it or has it been a solid runner?

It runs pretty good I think. Has an obvious cracked exhaust manifold and I did the wheel bearings. But it's been good

P2238 code on the way to work this morning, looks like I'm getting a new front O2 sensor

    Heeeeeellll no

although I expect I'll need to by next smog but that's a couple years away. I have money on the fact that P0420 will come back to haunt me by then. Judging by how hard it was to get the monitors to set last time

apparently this code is specific to the front sensor and is either the sensor itself or the wiring

gas mileage seems to be even worse than usual so makes sense something was up

I still haven't replaced my cat or exhaust to tackle my P0420:bananadead:

It went away last oil change and hasn't come back so I've been lying to myself saying it fixed itself:homer:

I went through many of the same cycles of lying to myself about that code before I had to do something about it lol. But you're kinda forced to when living out here, unless you're lucky enough that it goes away come smog time.

Put in a spark plug non fouler and it'll go away, of course if the cat is plugged then you're losing MPG and power too

I think that's a fender solution for people who need to pass state inspections

I had a hell of a time trying to find one of those pools for our daughter a few months ago, maybe it just wasn't quite close enough to summer time. Finally ended up finding them at Petsmart of all places

then I 'accidentally' drove her 24v Jeep over it and it cracked
