It took me one summer of breaking myself to know I didn’t wanna anymore

 

Regretfully I'm an obstinate fuck with an authority problem.

Plus I've always wanted to die young so breaking myself for work felt like a win win at the time

 

I think that's the way to go, you gained perspective that will probably change how you view every job since.


For me it was working full time during summer painting apartments that didn't have A/C. Between the heat, paint fumes, and hangovers i was constantly suffering. Had really good shoulders and arms though lol

 

Work over rig with 12+ hour days 5 to 6 days a week in 105° weather or rain and hail, and the asphalt job 2 summers ago, count me out

 

All I hear is complaining
