1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I just ordered a set of metal ones

 

If/when mine die again I'll do the same. The regular T1A handles have held up well for me the last 2 years though

 

Theyre for my friends truck, cracked his drivers handle in May, so it’s on the edge

 

My buddy's dad had a broken handle on his taco so I installed the metal handles on mine and gave him the stock ones.

Only problem with mine is that they’ve faded

but for $50 a set it’s fine

 

Italy and Japan make good light tasting/refreshing beer

Bud/Coors/Miller etc should take note

 

ahhh the school apps. Is it still set up so you have to manually entire a bunch of information over and over again for each one?

No, we are bugging out! We are going camping down by June Lake with some friends. Just finished packing up the truck. Even got a new bike for my wife to put around on.

Sounds like I’ve got a job waiting for when I’m done next spring, I think they’ll make an offer in the next couple of weeks.


I’m sure it’ll be better paying than the $30/hr I’m making now too so that’s cool

 

Damn $30 an hour is great in Utah.

 

$30/hr is great for an intern anywhere lol

back when I did interning gigs I was lucky to get lunch. Got paid in college credits basically. More intern laws in place nowadays though

and don't get me started on working in the freelancing industry, absolutely no regulation in place there. You're expected to work for free as an assistant until your deemed worthy enough to get paid a few hundred bucks a day for it. If you stick that out long enough you might actually make your way up (or catch a lucky break/meet the right people etc). Don't miss that industry at all

 

Do you get benefits as an intern there or not until officially employed?

 

Raptor liner or paint? Might even protect the plastic from sun exposure enough to get a few extra years.
