Did you ever get charged for them?

 

I can do that myself. I just got lazy and never ordered the mountings plates and gussets.

 

My credit card was charged at time of purchase. Thankfully they (bilsteinlifts.com) were cool about giving me a refund (at least it seems that way--I got a refund receipt earlier today but the money hasn't hit my credit card yet).

Apart from never actually getting the springs, I can't complain too much at this point. Customer service was friendly and as helpful as they could be. I'd re-order from them if they actually had parts on hand.

(Once the money's back on my card, of course)

I'd take that deal.. even absolutely, worst scenario possible, the cyl got ruined (the cyl is a part of the side crankcase, like 50% of the motor) is only $110.

But that's not likely at all since the compression is good. So long as there's no galling on the crank and the bore can be honed, you'll make out like a bandit

 

Well just know that I'm gonna bug the shit out of you once it's in my hands.
