I threw cheapo stuff in there just after I did my 4x4 conversion to 'flush' it. I fully intended to replace it with full synthetic stuff after I ran it for a while.

 

I got the tach originally by mistake, luckily @zero4 pointed out i messed up. then returned it to get the right one lol

 

I don’t shoot a lot, not a big gun person knowledge wise. But there’s almost always a gun or two in my truck.

 

i'll stick to .22 for small caliber.

 

We use .22 mags on lions


Bears rarely but sometimes

 

It was really easy, although I didn't think it was necessary at first I listed all the pinouts/connections in my thread.

 

Most are dead before they hit the ground with 1 shot, gotta get the fmj’s, they do damage. Pretty much anything else sucks, specially on bears.


I watched a guy shoot a bear with a 12 gauge slug, pretty insane how quite it went down.

 

Oh gawd 45-70’s tear shit up, watched a guy use that too, freakin insane.


I know a guy a NM that has good prices on bears, lemme know when you decide to go.

 

Oh now, bears and cats arent scary.

About how much they damage they do?


It was like a 2.5 gallon bucket of blood falling out of the tree instantly.

Yes. The exit wound would be rediculous.

 

This one didn’t go through, but it went through the sternum and I’m sure expanded a bunch.

Bears have such thick skin the bullets pass through everything but the skin on the opposite side a lot of the time.

 

A .338 is something that is on my list of rifles to get... my only long range rifles are my 3 bag ants and my 1952 Winchester model 70 in .270 cal

 

Never had a problem, but I’ve heard some stories of people having them up their tracks behind them.

Seems like a waste. Only a handful of people can use that long range gun to it's full potential.
