On some trucks it's a simple swap. Others require cutting up the factory grille. Just depends if the headlight bucket trim is integrated into the middle grille section or not. On the 95-97 Tacoma it definitely required cutting and epoxy or something.

Anybody need a fresh V6 Tacoma charging harness, I've got all the measurements and can knock a few out. I won't order more cable if no one wants one tho

    Ouch, not here.

Hottest is 104, and it was actually cooler than that yesterday due to the overcast.

I'd be willing to do it but that one would cost significantly more cuz it needs 2 gauge

I'd only ever run a winch which I doubt I'd need upgraded cabling for.

I mean, the stock wires suffice considering Toyota offered 80s with a center console fridge and winch....unless the wiring was factory upgraded?

Center fridge used the AC lines. Factory winch had its own wiring and a short duty cycle (with overheat cutout)

Just ordered a 150 amp alternator for my 04 in preparation for pulling the motor. I'd be interested also.

Ah yeah, that would be a much easier swap on the older trucks. Sounds like it would be a big project on a '98 Tacoma.

I'd still like to do a '95-97 face swap some day. I keep watching for a donor to show up in the junk yard.

Ya they should. I'd hit them with a carpet shampooer then maybe a trip through the clothes washer. Just pay shipping
